Cooking classes in Killarney

A small number of hosts run cooking classes that reach Killarney today, priced from €50 to €75 a person. The price is shown before you book.

One host is based in Killarney, about 7 km from the centre, and teaches Italian pasta at €75 a person: three types of pasta with three simple mother sauces, for groups of up to 10, with a travel radius of 100 km. The other travels from Cork, about 74 km away, teaching Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cooking at €50 a person for groups of 10 and up.

Killarney classes are often booked by a group staying in the area for a weekend: friends in a rented house, a family gathering, a hen party or a team away day. Message the host with your dates, numbers and dietary needs, and say where you are staying, so the host can confirm where the class would happen.

The price is per person, so the cost of a group is the price times the number of guests. Eight people at the €75 pasta class come to €600, and ten people at the €50 class come to €500. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free needs are normal requests, so mention them in your first message. The pasta class is capped at 10 guests, so a bigger group should message the host before booking, and the Cork class starts at 10, so a smaller group should do the same. If your group is staying a few nights, book the class for the first evening, which leaves room to move the date if the weather or travel plans change.
