    Cancellation timeline

    Your refund depends on when you cancel relative to the event date.

    7+ days before

    100% refund

    Full refund if you cancel at least 7 days before your event

    3-7 days before

    50% refund

    50% refund if you cancel between 3-7 days before your event

    1-3 days before

    25% refund

    25% refund if you cancel between 1-3 days before your event

    Less than 24 hours

    0% refund

    No refund for cancellations within 24 hours of your event

    If a host cancels

    Full refund guaranteed

    If the host cancels your booking, you will receive a full refund. We take host cancellations seriously and this may impact their standing on the platform.

    Rescheduling instead of cancelling

    Change your booking date without losing money.

    If you need to change your booking date, consider rescheduling instead of cancelling:

    Request at least 72 hours before your event
    Both you and the host must agree to the new date and time
    Maximum 2 reschedules per booking
    No additional fees for approved reschedules

    Special circumstances

    Exceptions and emergency situations.

    Medical Emergencies

    If you need to cancel due to a medical emergency, contact our support team with documentation. We review these cases individually and may offer full refunds on a case-by-case basis.

    Severe Weather or Acts of Nature

    In cases of severe weather warnings or natural disasters that make it unsafe to proceed, we prioritize safety. Rescheduling is preferred, but refunds may be issued if rescheduling isn't possible.

    Government Restrictions

    If government restrictions prevent the event from taking place (e.g., lockdowns, gathering limits), both customers and chefs will receive full refunds with no penalties.

    How to cancel a booking

    A simple step-by-step process.

    3Click the "Cancel Booking" button
    4Review the refund amount you'll receive
    5Confirm the cancellation
    6Your refund will be processed within 5-10 business days

    Refund processing time

    Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. The exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer.

    You'll receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed. If you don't receive your refund within 10 business days, please contact our support team.
