Hen party ideas for a group that would rather eat than queue
Somebody in the group has to organise this and it is probably you. The two things here are easy to book, work for eight to fourteen people, and give the day a centre that is not a bar. Both are priced per person so you can split it before anyone asks.
The cooking class is the crowd favourite: two hours with a chef, everyone cooking, then everyone eating what they made. Pasta from scratch, sushi, a curry night, pizza in a wood oven. Hosts run these privately for hen groups in their own kitchen or in the house you have rented. Most cost €65 to €95 a head, ingredients included.
The chef at the house is for the night you want to stay in. They cook three courses for the group, serve them, and clean up while you carry on. Menus mostly run €60 to €90 a head. Pick the town nearest the house above and see who can reach you. Enquiring is free, and the host will tell you quickly whether your date works.
