Catering in Cork

A small number of caterers reach Cork today, with package prices from €25 to €70 a head and a typical price of about €28. Neither is based in the city. One is a live-fire caterer from Charleville in North Cork, about 52 km away, and the other is a Killarney caterer about 66 km away who does buffets, barbecues and fine dining.

The live-fire caterer cooks outdoors over open flame and takes bookings from 30 up to 250 guests, with a minimum order of €100. It suits weddings and larger gatherings where food cooked on site is part of the event. The Killarney caterer takes smaller groups, from 6 up to 100 guests, with a minimum order of €80, and offers everything from a casual barbecue or buffet to a seated fine-dining dinner.

Both list a travel radius of 100 km, which brings Cork city and much of the county within range. With only a small number of caterers on the list, availability on a given Saturday in summer is worth checking early.

Every package shows a price per head, so enter your numbers and the total appears before you book. You can book a package as listed, or message the caterer first to change a dish, add a dessert table or ask about dietary needs. Enquiring is free and needs no card.
